Recognize Violations That Do Not Require a Warning
Are you aware of all the Common Violations That Do Not Require a Warning?
While CRMLS Compliance provides warnings for certain rule violations to grant users an opportunity to correct them before incurring a fine, certain violations can lead to an immediate fine without a warning. These instances occur when:
- Users cannot correct the error, such as when an agent or broker misses a rule-related deadline
- The violator gains an unfair advantage over those adhering to the rules
- Violations pose a significant risk outside the MLS, such as violations to copyright law
Each of these situations constitutes a serious breach of the CRMLS Rules and Policies, and in some cases, state or federal law.
