When potential buyers look at your listings, it’s not just the descriptions that pull them in – it’s being able to visualize themselves in a new place they could call “home.” That’s why including informative and attractive media in your listing – such as photos, videos, and floor plans – is vital.
Through CRMLS, you have access to tools and resources that can make your listings (literally) look their best:
“Show me photos!” is the common refrain from anyone looking for a new house, apartment, or really any other property, because they will make a lot of judgements based off these photos alone. If you want to hire a professional to bring out the best in your properties, CRMLS has a list verified of photographers to suggest.
These photographers applied for their inclusion in our list and have the proper licensing required for all the photographs they take to be placed in the MLS. You may, of course, use your own photographer, but with our list you won’t have to procure the correct licensing yourself.
Consult out guide to using professional photographs in the MLS in our Knowledgebase for more detailed information.
How many times have you or a client had to examine listing photos for clues as to what exactly you’re looking at? “Is this the primary bedroom?” “Are these two rooms next to each other?” “Which floor is this on?” With a video tour, it’s much easier to find these answers and provide a clearer picture of how the whole property comes together. Even if you are offering showings and open houses, videos can help pique interest and serve as good reminders after a potential buyer has seen the house.
WellcomeMat is a CRMLS core product, available to users at no additional cost, that serves as a single destination for all your video file hosting, editing, and sharing needs. Plus, unlike many video platform sites, WellcomeMat offers helpful analytics about how the video was watched, who watched it, and how it performs in the MLS.

Floor plans are some of the most frequently requested items from clients because, just like videos, they help potential buyers understand the space, especially when they include dimensions. Save the time and effort of trying to measure everything yourself and instead create floor plans of any property using just your phone with CubiCasa.
As another core product solution at CRMLS, many of CubiCasa’s features are available at no additional cost, such as 2D floor plans with a 24-hour turnaround time. CRMLS users also get a 25% discount on additions like 3D features and virtual tours. All you need is a phone and the CubiCasa app – no special equipment, no extra subscriptions, not even a pencil.
In addition, CRMLS photographers (those people we talked about above) can access CubiCasa and have limited access to CRMLS Matrix to create floor plans while photographing the property. That means you can offer the photographers access to a floor plan product, and Matrix users can streamline the photo upload process.

Aside from making your media look good, it’s equally important to make sure it’s compliant with the MLS. That means adhering to CRMLS Rule 11.5: Media on the MLS. This rule explains content restrictions, prior authorization rules, expectation of truthful representation, subsequent use of media, and restrictions around branded media. It is definitely worth consulting this rule before uploading any media to the MLS. You can also check out our presentations on this topic:

The minimum requirement in the MLS is “…at least one photograph or rendering accurately depicting a substantial portion of the exterior of the subject property.” But why just do the minimum when more media can substantially increase your listing’s appeal to potential buyers and CRMLS has so many easy ways to add eye-catching imagery? We at CRMLS look forward to seeing (pun intended) what you do to showcase your listings and get to the Close in the blink of an eye.
