Art Carter, CEO of CRMLS, sent out a letter to all CRMLS users recently, but we think it’s important that everyone gets a chance to read its message. Please find it in its entirety below.
To all our valued users,
As we wrap up what has been an eventful year (to say the least), I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what a journey 2024 has been.
In the biggest occurrence of the year, 2024 saw the commissions lawsuits come to a head. To be frank, their rulings fundamentally reworked how we think about real estate. The uncertainty and confusion were palpable, and I personally went an extended tour of conferences, offices, and more to help guide how everyone was responding to the shifts and changes. It was a great opportunity to meet people where they were, hear out their issues or concerns, and use that feedback to better steer CRMLS’s response. As we continue to adapt, I feel more confident than ever in our response to industry shakeups. It’s now up to us to prove how CRMLS can bring continued value to its users.
Even though the commissions lawsuits took up a lot of oxygen in 2024, we at CRMLS stayed busy building and developing. We launched several new products for a greater user experience, we built out our data sharing network to bring more property-centric data than ever, and our support staff continued to offer their award-winning assistance. While this past year consisted of a series of adjustment periods, I was impressed and thrilled by the unity and resilience of our brokerage community and userbase as a whole.
2025 will be another year of changes as the industry and market continue to evolve, and CRMLS has big initiatives and new things to show you after the calendar flips. For now, I hope that all of you get a well-deserved break and have a very lovely holiday. As always, thank you all for your support and for being such outstanding real estate professionals.
